Description
Class Introduction: Staying in Recovery
Recovery is not a destination — it is a daily, intentional practice. While achieving sobriety is a powerful and life-changing milestone, maintaining recovery requires ongoing awareness, commitment, and the development of healthy coping skills. This class is designed to explore what it truly means to stay in recovery beyond abstinence. Participants will examine the psychological, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual components of long-term recovery, as well as the common challenges that can threaten stability.
Through education, reflection, and practical application, this class will empower participants to strengthen their recovery foundation, recognize early warning signs of relapse, build resilience, and create a personalized plan for continued growth. Emphasis will be placed on accountability, self-awareness, support systems, and purpose-driven living as key pillars of sustainable recovery.
This is not a class about perfection — it is a class about progress, intention, and courage.
